Ha, well, my boyfriend has the EXACT same obsession with his iPhone. He never puts it down. It annoys the hell out of me. I've tried so many different things, from hiding it until he throws a fit, ignoring him for hours at a time and preoccupying myself, to throwing an absolute fit on him. Nothing works. The only thing I've found that does work is pouting about it until I can make him feel a little guilty. If you do more things together, he won't have the time to look at it. Go out, do something. Get more involved. The only way he'll stop is if he's forced to.
