Deist vs. Theist, (and let's throw Christianity in the mix)?

Personally, I believe in a God. It's those specifics that I'm a tad wary about. I'm interested to hear others opinion on the matter. Do you believe in God, and what sort of God do you believe in. Does this "divine spirit" intervene in the lives of everyday people, or does this deity just observe? Is it one with the universe, or is it something separate and far greater? What do you worship, and what is the nature of this God?
