How can any American sink to the level of Toyota, or any other Japanese car?

If you use past grievances as a criteria for what you can't buy, you won't be able to shop for very much. The bottom line is that the reason why American car makers lost market share was because foreign manufacturers were producing better products. And that's what people want, a better product, not the history of what happened sixty years ago. At one time, the British were our barbarians, but if you can't let go of the past, you'll continue to give yourself reasons to be unhappy. Let it go already, if you want to be a happier person.
